Research Overview

Focusing on characterizing the various components of photoreceptor ORG's and understanding the underlying mechanisms in healthy and diseased states. In order to accomplish this, I am using a combination of in vivo human imaging and an as yet to be developed ex-vivo setup which will allow for pharmaceutical and genetic manipulations.PhD Student in the Sabesan lab focusing on characterizing the various components of photoreceptor ORG's and understanding the underlying mechanisms in healthy and diseased states.
