Research Overview

I study neuropathological disease using high dimensional data approaches such as transcriptomics and proteomics by leveraging single cell and spatial technologies to characterize cell types and cell states. The BRaIN Lab manages the University of Washington Brain Repository, one of the largest brain banks in the world, and define the world gold standard for pathological characterization. Our mission is to honor the gift of brain donation in the United States, and facilitate ground breaking discoveries for the development of medical diagnoses and interventions.
