Research Overview

I study sleep and circadian rhythms in a PTSD mouse model. Using randomly-distributed foot shocks, we're able to entrain mouse circadian rhythms of activity to shift from nocturnal to diurnal. I am trying to characterize the circadian transcriptome during circadian fear entrainment and identify what regions of the brain are involved in the fear entrainment process.
